Rabbit Urocortin 3 (UCN3) Polyclonal Antibody | anti-UCN3 antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to Urocortin 3 (UCN3)
IHC: 5-30ug/mL
ICC: 5-30ug/mL
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4°C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20°C for 24 months.
Stability Test:
Thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the corticotropin-releasing hormone peptide family that participates in coordinating autonomic, endocrine, and behavioral responses to stress. The encoded preproprotein undergoes proteolytic processing to generate a mature, functional hormone. The pancreatic islets isolated from mice lacking the encoded protein secrete less insulin in response to high glucose concentrations. Transgenic mice overexpressing the encoded protein exhibit a metabolically favorable phenotype resisting obesity and hyperglycemia on a high-fat diet. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2016]
Uniprot Description
UCN3: Suppresses food intake, delays gastric emptying and decreases heat-induced edema. Might represent an endogenous ligand for maintaining homeostasis after stress. Belongs to the sauvagine/corticotropin-releasing factor/urotensin I family.

Product Notes
The UCN3 ucn3 (Catalog #AAA2007025) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Urocortin 3 (UCN3) reacts with Mus musculus (Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Urocortin 3 (UCN3) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB); Immunohistochemistry (IHC); Immunocytochemistry (ICC); Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 0.5-3ug/mL IHC: 5-30ug/mL ICC: 5-30ug/mL Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UCN3 ucn3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Urocortin 3 (UCN3), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
