Rabbit anti-Human UBP1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-UBP1 antibody
UBP1, ID (UBP1, LBP1, Upstream-binding protein 1, Transcription factor LBP-1) (Azide free) (HRP)
ELISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:100-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot analysis using MBS6007396 in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).T his demonstrates the UBP1 antibody detected the UBP1 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemistry analysis using MBS6007396 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human breast tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent image of A549 cell stained withMBS6007396. A549 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with UBP1 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree C). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree C).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree C).UBP1 immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus significantly.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
UBP1: Functions as a transcriptional activator in a promoter context-dependent manner. Modulates the placental expression of CYP11A1. Involved in regulation of the alpha-globin gene in erythroid cells. Activation of the alpha-globin promoter in erythroid cells is via synergistic interaction with TFCP2. Involved in regulation of the alpha-globin gene in erythroid cells. Binds strongly to sequences around the HIV-1 initiation site and weakly over the TATA-box. Represses HIV-1 transcription by inhibiting the binding of TFIID to the TATA-box. Belongs to the grh/CP2 family. CP2 subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: DNA-binding
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3p22.3
Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; cytoplasm; nucleus
Molecular Function: DNA binding; sequence-specific DNA binding; transcription factor activity; transcription corepressor activity
Biological Process: regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; transcription, DNA-dependent; viral genome replication; angiogenesis; negative regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent

Product Notes
The UBP1 ubp1 (Catalog #AAA6360930) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The UBP1, ID (UBP1, LBP1, Upstream-binding protein 1, Transcription factor LBP-1) (Azide free) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's UBP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:10-50 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UBP1 ubp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "UBP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
