Related Product Information for anti-TNFRSF11A antibody
RANKL and RANK are members of the TNF superfamily of ligands and receptors that play an important role in the regulation of specific immunity and bone turnover. RANK (receptor) was originally identified as a dendritic-cell-membrane protein, which by interacting with RANKL augments the ability of dendritic cells to stimulate naive T cell proliferation and to promote the survival of RANK + T cells.RANK is also expressed in a variety of tissues including skeletal muscle, thymus, liver, colon, small intestine and adrenal gland. The RANK/RANKL interaction is important in the regulation of osteoclastogenesis and in dendritic-cell-mediated T cell immune responses. Impairments in RANK signaling have been implicated in the induction of expansile osteolysis and Paget disease of bone (PDB2). Recombinant human sRANK receptor is a 19.3 kDa polypeptide containing the TNFR homologous cysteine rich portion of the extracellular domain of RANK receptor (175 amino acid residues).

Uniprot Description

TNFRSF11A: Receptor for TNFSF11/RANKL/TRANCE/OPGL; essential for RANKL-mediated osteoclastogenesis. Involved in the regulation of interactions between T-cells and dendritic cells. Binds to the clefts between the subunits of the TNFSF11 ligand trimer to form a heterohexamer. Interacts with TRAF1, TRAF2, TRAF3, TRAF5 and TRAF6. Interacts (via cytoplasmic domain) with GAB2. Ubiquitous expression with high levels in skeletal muscle, thymus, liver, colon, small intestine and adrenal gland.

Product Notes

The TNFRSF11A tnfrsf11a (Catalog #AAA9415297) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 11A Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 11A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot: 1:500 - 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFRSF11A tnfrsf11a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 11A, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
