Rabbit anti-Human TUBA1A Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TUBA1A antibody
TUBA1A Antibody - C-terminal region
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Microtubules of the eukaryotic cytoskeleton perform essential and diverse functions and are composed of a heterodimer of alpha and beta tubulins. The genes encoding these microtubule constituents belong to the tubulin superfamily, which is composed of six distinct families. Genes from the alpha, beta and gamma tubulin families are found in all eukaryotes. The alpha and beta tubulins represent the major components of microtubules, while gamma tubulin plays a critical role in the nucleation of microtubule assembly. There are multiple alpha and beta tubulin genes, which are highly conserved among species. This gene encodes alpha tubulin and is highly similar to the mouse and rat Tuba1 genes. Northern blot studies have shown that the gene expression is predominantly found in morphologically differentiated neurologic cells. This gene is one of three alpha-tubulin genes in a cluster on chromosome 12q. Mutations in this gene cause lissencephaly type 3 (LIS3) - a neurological condition characterized by microcephaly, intellectual disability, and early-onset epilepsy caused by defective neuronal migration. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2017]

The TUBA1A Antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TUBA1A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TUBA1A tuba1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: AKRAFVHWYV GEGMEEGEFS EAREDMAALE KDYEEVGVDS VEGEGEEEGE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TUBA1A, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
