Target Description: TRADD is the adapter molecule for TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 that specifically associates with the cytoplasmic domain of activated TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 mediating its interaction with FADD. Overexpression of TRADD leads to two major TNF-induced responses, apoptosis and activation of NF-kappa-B.The protein encoded by this gene is a death domain containing adaptor molecule that interacts with TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and mediates programmed cell death signaling and NF-kappaB activation. This protein binds adaptor protein TRAF2, reduces the recruitment of inhibitor-of-apoptosis proteins (IAPs) by TRAF2, and thus suppresses TRAF2 mediated apoptosis. This protein can also interact with receptor TNFRSF6/FAS and adaptor protein FADD/MORT1, and is involved in the Fas-induced cell death pathway. Product Notes
The TRADD tradd (Catalog #AAA3224341) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TRADD antibody - middle region reacts with Dog, Horse, Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TRADD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TRADD tradd for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: YEQAFQLLRR FVQAEGRRAT LQRLVEALEE NELTSLAEDL LGLTDPNGGL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TRADD, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
