Goat TPPP/p25 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TPPP antibody
Goat anti-TPPP/p25 Antibody
Expected from sequence similarity: Human
Expected from sequence similarity: Human
Western blot: Approx 26kDa band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum), Mouse and Rat Brain lysates (calculated MW of 23.7kDa according to NP_008961.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Acevedo et al, Exp Cell Res. 2007 Dec 10;313(20):4091-106; PMID: 18028908). Recommended concentration: 0.001-0.01ug/ml. Primary incubation was 1 hour. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 17kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
IHC: In paraffin embedded Human Cerebellum shows strong staining of axonal bundles through the granular layer. Recommended concentration: 1-2ug/ml. Paraffin embedded Human Cortex. Recommended concentration: 3.75ug/ml.
Western Blot (WB)
((0. 001ug/ml) staining of Human Cerebellum lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.)
Western Blot (WB)
((0. 001ug/ml) staining of Mouse (A) and Rat (B) Brain lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
((2ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Cerebellum. Microwaved antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, HRP-staining.)
Immunohistochemistry
(Negative Control showing staining of paraffin embedded Human Cerebellum, with no primary antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry
((3.75ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Cortex. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, AP-staining.)

Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TPPP tppp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: DPSKDRAAKR LSLES. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TPPP/p25, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
