Wash slides in 3 changes of xylene - 1 minute each @ RT
Apply coverslip
Note
During shipment, small volumes of product will ocassionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial. We recommend briefly centrifuging the vial to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap prior to opening.
Warning
This reagent may contain sodium azide. The chemical, physical, and toxicologial properties of this material have not been thoughly investigated.Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed. Avoid skin and eye contact, inhalation, and ingestion. Sodium azide forms hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions and may react with lead or copper plubing to form highly explosive metal azides. On disposal, flush with large volumes of water to prevent accumulation
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months.
For long term storage store at -20°C.

Uniprot Description

TNFSF4: Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF4. Co-stimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. Genetic variations in TNFSF4 influence susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). SLE is a chronic, inflammatory and often febrile multisystemic disorder of connective tissue. It affects principally the skin, joints, kidneys and serosal membranes. It is thought to represent a failure of the regulatory mechanisms of the autoimmune system. The upstream region of TNFSF4 contains a single risk haplotype for SLE, which is correlated with increased expression of both cell-surface TNFSF4 and TNFSF4 transcripts. Increased levels of TNFSF4 are thought to augment T-cell-APC interaction and the functional consequences of T-cell activation, thereby destabilizing peripheral tolerance. Belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family.

The Anti-TNFSF4 / OX40L Antibody (aa102-131) IHC-plus reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TNFSF4 / OX40L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Western Blot (WB). IHC-P (1:100) WB (1:1000). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFSF4 / OX40L tnfsf4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TNFSF4 / OX40L, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
