NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
TIPRL is an inhibitory regulator of protein phosphatase-2A (PP2A) (see PPP2CA; MIM 176915), PP4 (see PPP4C; MIM 602035), and PP6 (see PPP6C; MIM 612725) (McConnell et al., 2007 [PubMed 17384681]).[supplied by OMIM, Nov 2010]
Uniprot Description
TIPRL: May be a allosteric regulator of serine/threonine- protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). Isoform 1 inhibits catalytic activity of the PP2A(D) core complex in vitro. The PP2A(C):TIPRL complex does not show phosphatase activity. May play a role in the regulation of ATM/ATR signaling pathway controlling DNA replication and repair. Belongs to the TIP41 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Unknown function
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q23.2
Cellular Component: cytoplasm; intracellular membrane-bound organelle
Molecular Function: protein binding
Biological Process: DNA damage checkpoint; negative regulation of protein phosphatase type 2A activity

Product Notes
The TIPRL tiprl (Catalog #AAA1498550) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TIPRL Antibody, Biotin conjugated reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TIPRL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TIPRL tiprl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TIPRL, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
