Uniprot Description

TFE3: Transcription factor that specifically recognizes and binds E-box sequences (5'-CANNTG-3'). Efficient DNA-binding requires dimerization with itself or with another MiT/TFE family member such as TFEB or MITF. In association with TFEB, activates the expression of CD40L in T-cells, thereby playing a role in T- cell-dependent antibody responses in activated CD4(+) T-cells and thymus-dependent humoral immunity. Specifically recognizes the MUE3 box, a subset of E-boxes, present in the immunoglobulin enhancer. It also binds very well to a USF/MLTF site. A chromosomal aberration involving TFE3 is found in patients with alveolar soft part sarcoma. Translocation t(X;17)(p11;q25) with ASPSCR1 forms a ASPSCR1-TFE3 fusion protein. Chromosomal aberrations involving TFE3 are found in patients with papillary renal cell carcinoma. Translocation t(X;1)(p11.2;q21.2) with PRCC; translocation t(X;1)(p11.2;p34) with PSF; inversion inv(X)(p11.2;q12) that fuses NONO to TFE3. Belongs to the MiT/TFE family.

Product Notes

The TFE3 tfe3 (Catalog #AAA6355051) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TFE3, CT (TFE3, BHLHE33, Transcription factor E3, Class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 33) (PE) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TFE3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TFE3 tfe3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TFE3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
