Related Product Information for anti-SYN3 antibody
Distinct genes encode the three different isolated proteins (I, II, and III). The Synapsins (SYN1, SYN2, and SYN3) are important players in the adult brain, given their involvement in synaptic transmission and plasticity, as well as in the developing brain through roles in axon outgrowth and synaptogenesis. The synapsin III gene, SYN3, which belongs to the family of synaptic vesicle-associated proteins, has been implicated in the modulation of neurotransmitter release and synaptogenesis, suggesting a potential role in several neuropsychiatric diseases. Of interest, the gene of synapsin III (SYN3) is located in the chromosome 22q12-q13, a locus close to one of the candidate susceptibility regions (22q13.1) for MS, and a candidate region implicated in previous linkage studies of schizophrenia.

Product Notes

The SYN3 (Catalog #AAA8109246) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SYN3 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SYN3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC-P: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SYN3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SYN3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
