Related Product Information for anti-SSX6P antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against SSX6. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: This gene belongs to the family of highly homologous synovial sarcoma X (SSX) breakpoint proteins. These proteins may function as transcriptional repressors. They are also capable of eliciting spontaneously humoral and cellular immune responses in cancer patients, and are potentially useful targets in cancer vaccine-based immunotherapy. SSX1, SSX2 and SSX4 genes have been involved in the t(X;18) translocation characteristically found in all synovial sarcomas. This gene is classified as a pseudogene because a splice donor in the 3' UTR has changed compared to other family members, rendering the transcript a candidate for nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD).

Product Notes

The SSX6P ssx6 (Catalog #AAA3203031) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SSX6P Antibody - middle region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SSX6P can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SSX6P ssx6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: IPKIMPEKPA EEGSDSKGVP EASGPQNDGK KLCPPGKASS SEKIHERSGP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SSX6P, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
