Rabbit anti-Human SRGAP1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-SRGAP1 antibody
SRGAP1 Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a GTPase activator, working with the GTPase CDC42 to negatively regulate neuronal migration. The encoded protein interacts with the transmembrane receptor ROBO1 to inactivate CDC42. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2016]
Uniprot Description
ARHGAP13: GTPase-activating protein for RhoA and Cdc42 small GTPases. Together with CDC42 seems to be involved in the pathway mediating the repulsive signaling of Robo and Slit proteins in neuronal migration. SLIT2, probably through interaction with ROBO1, increases the interaction of SRGAP1 with ROBO1 and inactivates CDC42. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: GAPs; GAPs, Rac/Rho
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q14.2
Cellular Component: cytoplasm; cytosol
Molecular Function: GTPase activator activity; protein binding; Rac GTPase binding
Biological Process: negative regulation of cell migration; regulation of small GTPase mediated signal transduction
Disease: Thyroid Carcinoma, Follicular

Product Notes
The SRGAP1 srgap1 (Catalog #AAA7050599) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SRGAP1 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SRGAP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF). IF: 1: 50-1: 200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SRGAP1 srgap1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SRGAP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
