Related Product Information for anti-SOX4 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Transcription factor SOX-4(SOX4) detection. Tested with WB in Human.

Background: Transcription factor SOX-4 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SOX4 gene. This intronless gene encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins, such as syndecan binding protein (syntenin). This protein may function in the apoptosis pathway leading to cell death as well as to tumorigenesis and may mediate downstream effects of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and PTH-related protein (PTHrP) in bone development. The solution structure has been resolved for the HMG-box of a similar mouse protein.

Product Notes

The SOX4 sox4 (Catalog #AAA177819) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SOX4 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SOX4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SOX4 sox4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SOX4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
