Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence staining of SLC39A7 in HepG2 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human SLC39A7 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4 degree C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.)

Related Product Information for anti-SLC39A7 antibody
SLC39A7 (ZIP7), also known as Ke4, is a zinc transporter that plays a key role in intestinal epithelial self-renewal. SLC39A7 is a member of solute carrier family 39 (Slc39a) and plays a critical role in regulating cell growth and death. The zinc transporter SLC39A7 (ZIP7)1 is a resident endoplasmic reticulum (ER) protein that is involved in controlling the release of zinc from this organelle into the cytosol. Subsequently, zinc plays a major role in processes that preserve cellular homeostasis. SLC39A7 plays a positive role in the progression of cervical cancer and its knockdown might be a potential therapeutic target for cervical cancer treatment. The solute carrier (SLC) protein SLC39A7, a Zn2+ importer, has recently been linked to asthma. Zinc transporter SLC39A7 provides support for phagocytosis and classical macrophage activation.

Product Notes

The SLC39A7 (Catalog #AAA8107823) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SLC39A7 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLC39A7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). ICC/IF: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC39A7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLC39A7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
