Related Product Information for anti-SLC16A4 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Monocarboxylate transporter 5(SLC16A4) detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P in Human, Mouse, Rat.
Background: Monocarboxylate transporter 5, also called Solute carrier family 16 member 4 or MCT4, is a protein that in humans is encodes by the SLC16A4 gene. This gene is mapped to 1p13.3. It acts as the proton-linked monocarboxylate transporter. This gene catalyzes the rapid transport across the plasma membrane of many monocarboxylates such as lactate, pyruvate, branched-chain oxo acids derived from leucine, valine and isoleucine, and the ketone bodies acetoacetate, beta-hydroxybutyrate and acetate.

Product Notes

The SLC16A4 slc16a4 (Catalog #AAA176969) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SLC16A4 antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLC16A4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC16A4 slc16a4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLC16A4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
