Related Product Information for anti-SAA1 antibody
Goats were immunized with highly purified recombinant human SAA. The resulting antiserum was passed over an antigen containing immunoabsorbant from which the anti-human SAA was immunoaffinity purified.
Function: Autophagy receptor that interacts directly with both the cargo to become degraded and an autophagy modifier of the MAP1 LC3 family. Required both for the formation and autophagic degradation of polyubiquitin-containing bodies, called ALIS (aggresome-like induced structures) and links ALIS to the autophagic machinery. Involved in midbody ring degradation. May regulate the activation of NFKB1 by TNF-alpha, nerve growth factor (NGF) and interleukin- 1. May play a role in titin/TTN downstream signaling in muscle cells. May regulate signaling cascades through ubiquitination. May be involved in cell differentiation, apoptosis, immune response and regulation of K(+) channels. Adapter that mediates the interaction between TRAF6 and CYLD.

Product Notes

The SAA1 (Catalog #AAA560674) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Affinity Purified Goat anti-Human SAA Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. This product is monospecific to Human SAA by immunoelectrophoresis and gel diffusion techniques. Suitable for blotting and ELISA applications. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SAA1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SAA (Serum Amyloid A), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
