Related Product Information for anti-RPS6KA3 antibody
RSK3 is a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains 2 non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Mutations in the gene have been associated with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).

Uniprot Description

RSK2: an AGC kinase of the RSK family. Phosphorylated and activated by Erk1 and -2 in response to many growth factors, polypeptide hormones and neurotransmitters. Several phosphorylation sites are important for its activation. Possesses two kinase domains connected by a regulator linker region. Phosphorylates a wide range of substrates including ribosomal protein S6. Prominently expressed in brain structures essential for cognitive function and learning.

Product Notes

The RPS6KA3 rps6ka3 (Catalog #AAA629182) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RSK2, phosphorylated (Ser369) (Ribosomal S6 Kinase 2, RSK2, RSK-2, p90-RSK2, pp90RSK2, 90kD Ribosomal Protein S6 Kinase 3, p90-RSK 3, p90RSK3, Insulin-stimulated Protein Kinase 1, ISPK1, ISPK-1, MAP Kinase-activated Protein Kinase 1b, MAPK-activated Prote reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RSK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Gel Shift Assay (GS/EMSA). Suitable for use in ELISA and Dot Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Dot Blot: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RPS6KA3 rps6ka3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RSK2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
