Background: Ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 90kDa, polypeptide 3, also known as RPS6KA3, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA3 gene. It is mapped to Xp22.12. This gene encodes a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains 2 non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Coffin-Lowry syndrome (CLS).

The RPS6KA3 rps6ka3 (Catalog #AAA1753027) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Rsk 2/MAPKAP Kinase 1b/RPS6KA3 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Rsk 2/MAPKAP Kinase 1b/RPS6KA3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Direct ELISA (EIA). WB: 0.25-0.5ug/ml (Human, Mouse, Rat) IHC-P (Embedded Section): 0.5-1ug/ml (Human) Direct ELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/ml (Human) Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RPS6KA3 rps6ka3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Rsk 2/MAPKAP Kinase 1b/RPS6KA3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
