Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus and cytoplasm.)

RMND5B (Required For Meiotic Nuclear Division 5 Homolog B) is a Protein Coding gene. RMND5B is a core component of the CTLH E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex that selectively accepts ubiquitin from UBE2H and mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of the transcription factor HBP1. RMND5B is widely expressed in the testis, esophagus, and other tissues. Diseases associated with RMND5B include Dyskeratosis Congenita, Autosomal Recessive 2, and Dyskeratosis Congenita, Autosomal Recessive 1. 158 organisms have orthologs with human gene RMND5B.
