Testing Data (Mouse macrophage cells (RAW 264.7) grown on glass coverslips and infected with respiratory syncytial virus. Cells were fixed with ice-cold acetone blocked with 1% BSA in PBS, pH 7.4 and double stained with MBS612352 and mouse anti-human ICAM-1 (Intercellular adhesion molecule-1) mAb for 1h at 37 degree C. The cells were subsequently incubated with secondary antibodies: rabbit antigoat IgG-PE (phycoerythrin) conjugate and sheep anti-mouse IgG-FITC conjugate, and were finally mounted in DAPI antifade (nuclear stain). RSV is distributed on the cell surface and in the cytoplasm (red fluorescence), ICAM-1 is localized mostly on the cell surface (green fluorescence), nuclei are visualized by staining with DAPI (blue fluorescence).)

Product Notes

The RSV (Catalog #AAA6497256) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Respiratory Syncytial Virus can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Fusion Inhibition. ELISA: 1:10,000 Indirect IF: 1:480 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RSV for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Respiratory Syncytial Virus, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
