NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the d4 domain family, characterized by a zinc finger-like structural motif. This protein functions as a transcription factor which is necessary for the apoptotic response following deprivation of survival factors. It likely serves a regulatory role in rapid hematopoietic cell growth and turnover. This gene is considered a candidate gene for multiple endocrine neoplasia type I, an inherited cancer syndrome involving multiple parathyroid, enteropancreatic, and pituitary tumors. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

May be a transcription factor required for the apoptosis response following survival factor withdrawal from myeloid cells. Might also have a role in the development and maturation of lymphoid cells.

Product Notes

The REQU dpf2 (Catalog #AAA9604841) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The REQU Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's REQU can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:1000 IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500 ELISA(peptide): 1:20000-1:40000 *The optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the REQU dpf2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "REQU, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
