Related Product Information for anti-RABEPK antibody
RABEPK (Rab9 Effector Protein With Kelch Motifs) is a Protein Coding gene. The RABEPK gene, located on 9q33.3, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, rice, and frog. An important paralog of this gene is HCFC1. RABEPK is a Rab9 effector required for endosome to trans-Golgi network (TGN) transport. RABEPK interacts preferentially with the active (GTP-bound) form of RAB9 GTPase and participates in mannose 6-phosphate receptor trafficking from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network (TGN). RABEPK is widely expressed in the liver, testis, and other tissues. Among its related pathways are Retrograde transport at the Trans-Golgi-Network and Golgi-to-ER retrograde transport. 234 organisms have orthologs with the human gene RABEPK.

Product Notes

The RABEPK (Catalog #AAA8107940) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-RABEPK Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RABEPK can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IP: 1-5uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RABEPK for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RABEPK, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
