Rabbit QSOX1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-QSOX1 antibody
QSOX1 Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Encodes a protein disulfide isomerase-like (PDIL) protein, a member of a multigene family within the thioredoxin (TRX) superfamily. This protein also belongs to the quiescin-sulfhydryl oxidase (QSOX) family, which possess an Erv1-like domain at the COOH terminus in addition to a TRX domain.
Uniprot Description
Function: Sulfhydryl oxidase involved in the regulation of cation homeostasis. Positively regulates shoot accumulation of K+ and inhibits accumulation of toxic cations. Acts at the level of root K+ efflux systems involved in xylem loading (root symplast-xylem interface). Ref.4
Catalytic activity: 2 R'C(R)SH + O2 = R'C(R)S-S(R)CR' + H2O2.
Cofactor: FAD
By similarity.
Subcellular location: Secreted › cell wall. Note: Associated with the cell wall. Ref.4
Tissue specificity: Highly expressed in roots. Ref.4
Induction: By salt and norspermidine treatments and phosphate starvation. Ref.4
Miscellaneous: Plants lacking QSOX1 display more sensitivity to the toxic cations lithium and sodium than wild-type plants.
Sequence similarities: Contains 1 ERV/ALR sulfhydryl oxidase domain.Contains 1 thioredoxin domain.
Sequence caution: The sequence AAF31025.1 differs from that shown. Reason: Erroneous gene model prediction.

Product Notes
The QSOX1 qsox1 (Catalog #AAA5311956) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's QSOX1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:3000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the QSOX1 qsox1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "QSOX1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
