Related Product Information for anti-PSG7 antibody
PSG7 is a member of the pregnancy-specific glycoprotein (PSG) gene family. The PSG genes are a subgroup of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family of immunoglobulin-like genes, and are found in a gene cluster at 19q13.1-q13.2 telomeric to another cluster of CEA-related genes. The PSG genes are expressed by placental trophoblasts and released into the maternal circulation during pregnancy, and are thought to be essential for maintenance of normal pregnancy. The reference genome contains a nonsense mutation that disrupts the coding sequence, suggesting that this gene may be evolving into a pseudogene.

Product Notes

The PSG7 psg7 (Catalog #AAA6338096) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PSG7, CT (PSG7, Putative pregnancy-specific beta-1-glycoprotein 7) (APC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PSG7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FLISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). FC/FACS: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 IHC: 1:50-100 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PSG7 psg7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PSG7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
