Rabbit PR3 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PRTN3 antibody
PR3 Antibody
IHC: 1:50-1:200
ELISA(peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of extracts from Mouse brain, using PR3 Antibody. The lane on the left was treated with blocking peptide.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)-Paraffin
(MBS9612169 at 1/100 staining Rat heart tissue by IHC-P. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the primary antibody at 4°C overnight. An HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)

Subcellular Location: Cytoplasmic granule. Secreted. Cell membrane>Peripheral membrane protein>Extracellular side. Membrane raft>Peripheral membrane protein>Extracellular side. Note: Localizes predominantly to azurophil granules (primary secretory granules) in neutrophils (PubMed:2033050, PubMed:3198760, PubMed:7897245, PubMed:18462208). Secreted upon neutrophil stimulation by TNF-alpha, lipopolysaccharide (LPS), fMLP and CXCL8/IL8 or during neutrophil transmigration (PubMed:22266279, PubMed:28240246). Following secretion tethered to the cell membrane by CD177 (PubMed:18462208, PubMed:22266279).
Tissue Specificity: Expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes (at protein level) (PubMed:2033050, PubMed:7897245, PubMed:3198760). Expressed in neutrophils (at protein level) (PubMed:28240246, PubMed:18462208, PubMed:21193407, PubMed:22266279, PubMed:17244676). Expressed in differentiating neutrophils (PubMed:18462208).
Subunit Structure: May form dimers (PubMed:28240246). Interacts with CD177; the interaction tethers PRTN3 to the cell surface; the interaction is direct (PubMed:17244676, PubMed:28240246). Interacts with SERPINB1 (PubMed:30692621).
Similarity: Belongs to the peptidase S1 family. Elastase subfamily.

Product Notes
The PRTN3 prtn3 (Catalog #AAA9612169) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PR3 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PR3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 ELISA(peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PRTN3 prtn3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PR3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
