Regulates endothelial cell migration. Plays an important role in ensuring the specificity of synapse formation. Required for normal development of the heart and vasculature. Mediates anti-angiogenic signaling in response to SEMA3E. Belongs to the plexin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
