Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse PKC zeta Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PKC zeta antibody
PKC zeta (Phospho-Thr560) Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Protein kinase C (PKC) zeta is a member of the PKC family of serine/threonine kinases which are involved in a variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation and secretion. Unlike the classical PKC isoenzymes which are calcium-dependent, PKC zeta exhibits a kinase activity which is independent of calcium and diacylglycerol but not of phosphatidylserine. Furthermore, it is insensitive to typical PKC inhibitors and cannot be activated by phorbol ester. Unlike the classical PKC isoenzymes, it has only a single zinc finger module. These structural and biochemical properties indicate that the zeta subspecies is related to, but distinct from other isoenzymes of PKC. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The PKC zeta prkcz (Catalog #AAA9412001) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PKC zeta (Phospho-Thr560) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PKC zeta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western blotting: 1:500~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PKC zeta prkcz for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PKC zeta, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
