Rabbit anti-Human PARK7 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-PARK7 antibody
PARK7 (Protein DJ-1, Oncogene DJ1, Parkinson Disease Protein 7, FLJ27376, FLJ34360, FLJ92274) (PE)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The product of this gene belongs to the peptidase C56 family of proteins. It acts as a positive regulator of androgen receptor-dependent transcription. It may also function as a redox-sensitive chaperone, as a sensor for oxidative stress, and it apparently protects neurons against oxidative stress and cell death. Defects in this gene are the cause of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson disease 7. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene. Uniprot Description
DJ-1: associated with autosomal recessive early onset parkinsonism. Involved in the oxidative stress response. Three cysteines in DJ-1 may be oxidized to cysteine sulphonic acid in the cellular response to H2O2. Loss of DJ-1 function may lead to neurodegeneration.

Product Notes
The PARK7 park7 (Catalog #AAA6388469) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PARK7 (Protein DJ-1, Oncogene DJ1, Parkinson Disease Protein 7, FLJ27376, FLJ34360, FLJ92274) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PARK7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PARK7 park7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PARK7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
