Uniprot Description

ARHGAP29: GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. Has strong activity toward RHOA, and weaker activity toward RAC1 and CDC42. May act as a specific effector of RAP2A to regulate Rho. In concert with RASIP1, suppresses RhoA signaling and dampens ROCK and MYH9 activities in endothelial cells and plays an essential role in blood vessel tubulogenesis. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: GAPs, Rac/Rho; GAPs

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1p22.1

Cellular Component: cytosol

Molecular Function: metal ion binding; PDZ domain binding

Biological Process: regulation of small GTPase mediated signal transduction; small GTPase mediated signal transduction; Rho protein signal transduction

Product Notes

The ARHGAP29 arhgap29 (Catalog #AAA618644) is an Antibody produced from Chicken and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PARG1 (PTPL1-associated RhoGAP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PARG1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARHGAP29 arhgap29 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PARG1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
