This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against PACRG. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: PACRG is a protein that is conserved across metazoans. In vertebrates, this gene is linked in a head-to-head arrangement with the adjacent parkin gene, which is associated with autosomal recessive juvenile Parkinson's disease. These genes are co-regulated in various tissues and they share a bi-directional promoter. Both genes are associated with susceptibility to leprosy. The parkin co-regulated gene protein forms a large molecular complex with chaperones, including heat shock proteins 70 and 90, and chaperonin components. This protein is also a component of Lewy bodies in Parkinson's disease patients, and it suppresses unfolded Pael receptor-induced neuronal cell death. This gene encodes a protein that is conserved across metazoans. Product Notes

The PACRG pacrg (Catalog #AAA3211063) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PACRG antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PACRG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PACRG pacrg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: GAIMARCNLD HLGSSDPPTS ASQVAEIIVN SGDGIDYSQQ KRENIGDLIQ. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PACRG, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
