NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a 47 kDa cytosolic subunit of neutrophil NADPH oxidase. This oxidase is a multicomponent enzyme that is activated to produce superoxide anion. Mutations in this gene have been associated with chronic granulomatous disease. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
p47phox: the 47-kilodalton cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein complex known as NADPH oxidase found in neutrophils. The holo-oxidase produces a burst of superoxide which is delivered to the lumen of the neutrophil phagosome. Contains 2 SH2 domains. Mutations in NCF1, as well as in other NADPH oxidase subunits, can result in chronic granulomatous disease.

Product Notes
The NCF1 ncf1 (Catalog #AAA2032502) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Neutrophil Cytosolic Factor 1 (NCF1) Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Neutrophil Cytosolic Factor 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (EIA). Western Blot: 1:50-400 Immunohistochemistry in formalin fixed frozen section: 1:50-500 Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay: 1:100-200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NCF1 ncf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Neutrophil Cytosolic Factor 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
