Related Product Information for anti-NDUFB5 antibody
NDUFB5 (NADH: Ubiquinone Oxidoreductase Subunit B5) is a Protein Coding gene. The NDUFB5 gene, located on 3q26.33, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, and rat, etc. NDUFB5 belongs to the complex I NDUFB5 subunit family. The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the multisubunit NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I). This protein has NADH dehydrogenase activity and oxidoreductase activity. It transfers electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Diseases associated with NDUFB5 include Night Blindness, Congenital Stationary, Type 1A. Among its related pathways are GABAergic synapse and Respiratory electron transport, ATP synthesis by chemiosmotic coupling, and heat production by uncoupling proteins.

Product Notes

The NDUFB5 (Catalog #AAA8109365) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NDUFB5 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NDUFB5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200 ICC/IF: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NDUFB5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NDUFB5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
