Background: N-myc proto-oncogene protein, also known as N-Myc or basic helix-loop-helix protein 37 (bHLHe37), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MYCN gene. This gene is a member of the MYC family and encodes a protein with a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain. And this protein is located in the nucleus and must dimerize with another bHLH protein in order to bind DNA. Amplification of this gene is associated with a variety of tumors, most notably neuroblastomas. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Product Notes
The n-Myc mycn (Catalog #AAA177938) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-n-Myc Antibody reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's n-Myc can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the n-Myc mycn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "n-Myc, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
