Research Articles on MYCN

1. Regulation of GCL(cat) by MYCN accounts for the survival of neuroblastoma cells against oxidative damage; GCL should be considered a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma.
2. Targeted expression of MYCN thus contributes to initiation, progression, and maintenance of MB, suggesting a central role for MYCN in pathogenesis
3. VEGFR-1 and sVEGFR-2, and upregulation of angiogenic activators VEGF-A and VEGF-D in MYCN-amplified stage IV neuroblastoma supports the crucial effect of this oncogene on neuroblastoma progression
4. Increasing extracellular matrix stiffness also reduces expression of N-Myc, a transcription factor involved in multiple aspects of oncogenic proliferation.
5. Bmi1 is a MYCN target gene that regulates tumorigenesis through repression of KIF1Bbeta and TSLC1 in neuroblastoma.
6. SKP2 activation through the transcriptional start site in MYCN-amplified cells is associated with the low abundance of pRB-E2F1 complexes bound to the SKP2 promoter in neuroblastoma.
7. MYCN/c-MYC-induced microRNAs repress coding gene networks associated with poor outcome in MYCN/c-MYC-activated tumors.
8. analysis of MiRNA dysregulation by MYCN amplification and chromosomal imbalances in neuroblastoma
9. miR-9 miRNA downregulates E-cadherin. Expression of miR-9 is activated by MYC and MYCN, which bind to the mir-9-3 locus. Elevated expression of miR-9 may contribute to epithelial-mesenchymal transition and metastasis in some and possibly many tumours.
10. MYCN transcriptionally upregulates p53 in neuroblastoma and uses p53 to mediate a key mechanism of apoptosis.

Product Notes

The MYCN mycn (Catalog #AAA602061) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The v-Myc Myelocytomatosis Viral Related Oncogene, Neuroblastoma Derived (avian) (MYCN, MODED, ODED) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's v-Myc Myelocytomatosis Viral Related Oncogene, Neuroblastoma Derived can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MYCN mycn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "v-Myc Myelocytomatosis Viral Related Oncogene, Neuroblastoma Derived, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
