Related Product Information for anti-MTRF1 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene was determined by in
silico methods to be a mitochondrial protein with similarity to the
peptide chain release factors (RFs) discovered in bacteria and
yeast. The peptide chain release factors direct the termination of
translation in response to the peptide chain termination codons.
Initially thought to have a role in the termination of mitochondria
protein synthesis, a recent publication found no mitochondrial
translation release functionality. Multiple alternatively spliced
transcript variants have been suggested by mRNA and EST data;
however, their full-length natures are not clear. [provided by
RefSeq].

Product Notes

The MTRF1 mtrf1 (Catalog #AAA9211339) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 232-259. The MTRF1 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MTRF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MTRF1 mtrf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MTRF1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
