Related Product Information for anti-MLK1/2 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/threonine kinase family. This kinase has been shown to activate MAPK8/JNK and MKK4/SEK1, and this kinase itself can be phoshorylated, and thus activated by JNK kinases. This kinase functions preferentially on the JNK signaling pathway, and is reported to be involved in nerve growth factor (NGF) induced neuronal apoptosis.Durkin J.T., Biochemistry 43:16348-16355(2004).The MGC Project Team; Genome Res. 14:2121-2127(2004).Dorow D.S.,Nature 446:153-158(2007).

Product Notes

The MLK1/2 map3k9 (Catalog #AAA9414936) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MLK1/2 (Phospho-Thr312/266) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MLK1/2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Immunohistochemistry: 1:50~1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MLK1/2 map3k9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MLK1/2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
