Related Product Information for anti-CCL3 antibody
CCL3 is a cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. Chemokines are a family of structurally related leukocyte chemoattractant cytokines that play a central role during immunoregulatory and inflammation processes. All chemokines contain four conserved cysteines linked by disulfide bonds, and two major subfamilies, namely CXC and CC, are defined on the basis of the first two cysteines which are separated by one amino acid or are adjacent. CCL3 is involved in the acute inflammatory state in the recruitment and activation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes.

Uniprot Description

CCL3L1: Chemotactic for lymphocytes and monocytes. Is a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. Is an inhibitor of HIV-1-infection. The processed form LD78-beta(3-70) shows a 20-fold to 30-fold higher chemotactic activity and is a very potent inhibitor of HIV-1- infection. LD78-beta(3-70) is also a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Protein type: Secreted; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Chemokine; Secreted, signal peptide

Cellular Component: extracellular space; cell; extracellular region; cytosol

Molecular Function: protein binding; chemokine activity; cytokine activity

Biological Process: neutrophil chemotaxis; positive regulation of osteoclast differentiation; leukocyte chemotaxis; positive regulation of interleukin-1 beta secretion; chemotaxis; positive regulation of tumor necrosis factor production; macrophage chemotaxis; regulation of cell shape; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; positive regulation of neuron apoptosis; immune response; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; inflammatory response; astrocyte cell migration; positive regulation of inflammatory response

Product Notes

The CCL3 ccl3 (Catalog #AAA8112336) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MIP-1 alpha/CCL3 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MIP-1 alpha/CCL3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCL3 ccl3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MIP-1 alpha/CCL3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
