Rabbit anti-Human MGST2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-MGST2 antibody
MGST2, CT (Microsomal Glutathione S-transferase 2, Microsomal GST-2, Microsomal GST-II, MGST-II, FLJ27438, GST2, MGC14097) (PE)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of MGST2 Antibody (C-term) in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). MGST2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma reacted with MGST2 Antibody (C-term),which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(MGST2 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The MAPEG (Membrane Associated Proteins in Eicosanoid and Glutathione metabolism) family consists of six human proteins, several of which are involved in the production of leukotrienes and prostaglandin E, important mediators of inflammation. This gene encodes a protein which catalyzes the conjugation of leukotriene A4 and reduced glutathione to produce leukotriene C4. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified in this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]
Uniprot Description
MGST2: Can catalyze the production of LTC4 from LTA4 and reduced glutathione. Can catalyze the conjugation of 1-chloro-2,4- dinitrobenzene with reduced glutathione. Belongs to the MAPEG family.

Product Notes
The MGST2 mgst2 (Catalog #AAA6488074) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MGST2, CT (Microsomal Glutathione S-transferase 2, Microsomal GST-2, Microsomal GST-II, MGST-II, FLJ27438, GST2, MGC14097) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MGST2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MGST2 mgst2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MGST2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
