Related Product Information for anti-MCHR1 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family 1, is an integral plasma membrane protein which binds melanin-concentrating hormone. The encoded protein can inhibit cAMP accumulation and stimulate intracellular calcium flux, and is probably involved in the neuronal regulation of food consumption. Although structurally similar to somatostatin receptors, this protein does not seem to bind somatostatin.

Product Notes

The MCHR1 mchr1 (Catalog #AAA6319637) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MCHR1, CT (MCHR1, GPR24, SLC1, Melanin-concentrating hormone receptor 1, G-protein coupled receptor 24, MCH-1R, SLC-1, Somatostatin receptor-like protein) (MaxLight 750) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MCHR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FLISA. Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MCHR1 mchr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MCHR1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
