Related Product Information for anti-mCherry antibody
Goat polyclonal antibody to mCherry (Cherry fluorescent protein). mCherry protein is derived from DsRed, an engineered red fluorescent protein from so-called disc corals of the genus Discosoma. mCherry is a ~27kDa protein that is optimally excited at a 587nm and has a maximum of emission at 610nm. It is a basic (constitutively fluorescent) red fluorescent protein and It is reported to be a very rapidly-maturing monomer with low acid sensitivity.

Product Notes

The mCherry (Catalog #AAA448218) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-mCherry reacts with Transfected cells, Red Fluorescent Protein (dsRed), tdTomato and mCherry and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's mCherry can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunohistochemistry-Frozen (IHC-F), Immunoelectron Microscopy (IEM). WB: 1:500-1:5,000 IF: 1:50-1:500 IHC-P: 1:50-1:500 IHC-F: 1:50-1:500 IEM: 1:50-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the mCherry for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "mCherry, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
