Rabbit LMF1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-LMF1 antibody
LMF1 Antibody
IHC: 1:20-1:200
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene resides in the endoplasmic reticulum, and is involved in the maturation and transport of lipoprotein lipase through the secretory pathway. Mutations in this gene are associated with combined lipase deficiency. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Uniprot Description
LMF1: Involved in the maturation of specific proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum. Required for maturation and transport of active lipoprotein lipase (LPL) through the secretory pathway. Defects in LMF1 are the cause of combined lipase deficiency (CLD). CLD is characterized by repeated episodes of pancreatitis, tuberous xanthomas and lipodystrophy and is caused by deficiency of both lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hepatic triglyceride lipase (HTGL). Belongs to the lipase maturation factor family.
Protein type: Membrane protein, multi-pass; Membrane protein, integral
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 16p13.3
Cellular Component: endoplasmic reticulum membrane; integral to membrane
Biological Process: ER to Golgi vesicle-mediated transport; protein maturation; protein secretion; positive regulation of lipoprotein lipase activity; protein amino acid glycosylation in Golgi
Disease: Lipase Deficiency, Combined

Product Notes
The LMF1 lmf1 (Catalog #AAA2528223) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LMF1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LMF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:200-1:2000 IHC: 1:20-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LMF1 lmf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LMF1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
