Preparation and Storage

The LENG8 gene is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, zebrafish, and frog. An important paralog of this gene is MCM3AP. LENG8 is predicted to be involved in RNA transport. 3 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported.
