Application Notes
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1.0ug/ml for 2hrs at RT.
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:50 for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Note: If staining is too light, use lower dilution or longer incubation time. If the staining is too strong, use higher dilution or shorter time.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide derived from C-terminal of human p27Kip1. Cellular Localization: Nuclear
Positive Control
MAD109, Ls174T. Colon carcinoma.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Product Notes

The Kip1, p27 (Catalog #AAA630915) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Kip1, p27 (cdk Inhibitor, Cyclin Dependent Kinase Inhibitor) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Kip1, p27 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Kip1, p27 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Kip1, p27, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
