Related Product Information for anti-Kip2, p57 antibody
p57Kip2 (or CDKN1C) is a potent tight-binding inhibitor of several G1 cyclin complexes, and is a negative regulator of cell proliferation. The gene encoding human p57Kip2 is located on chromosome 11p15.5, a region implicated in both sporadic cancers, Wilm's tumor, and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome

Product Notes

The Kip2, p57 (Catalog #AAA601686) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Kip2, p57 (cdk Inhibitor, Cyclin Dependent Kinase Inhibitor) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Kip2, p57 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Western Blot. Dilution: Immunoprecipitation (Native verified) (Use Protein A): 2ug/mg protein lysate Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 2-4 ug/ml for 30 min at RT Note: Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Kip2, p57 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Kip2, p57, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
