The antisera were raised in rabbits which were immunized with synthetic human insulin-like growth factor 1 covalently attached onto a carrier protein. These antisera have been shown to be specific for IGF-1 by ELISA. RIA. and immunoprecipitation techniques. The IgG fraction was prepared by precipitation. dialysis. and column chromatography. Rehydrate the lyophilized powder with 0.1 ml of PBS for the equivalent IgG concentration of whole antiserum. This is high titer antibody. and we recommend initially performing a titration experiment under your specific conditions (starting at a dilution of at least 1:500) to find the best concentration for your application. Each vial contains 2.3 mg of purified rabbit IgG
