Related Product Information for anti-HNRNPH2 antibody
This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). The hnRNPs are RNA binding proteins and they complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA). These proteins are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus some seem to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encoded by this gene has three repeats of quasi-RRM domains that binds to RNAs. It is very similar to the family member HNRPH1. This gene is thought to be involved in Fabray disease and X-linked agammaglobulinemia phenotype. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein.

Read-through transcription between this locus and the ribosomal protein L36a gene has been observed. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2011]

Product Notes
The HNRNPH2 hnrnph2 (Catalog #
AAA6307509) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HNRNPH2, CT (HNRNPH2, FTP3, HNRPH2, Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein H2, FTP-3, Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein H') (FITC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HNRNPH2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HNRNPH2 hnrnph2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of
"HNRNPH2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of
the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always
suggest centrifuging these vials
to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to
opening. Please be advised that
certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an
additional dry ice fee may also be
required.
