This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against Hdac4. It was validated on Western Blot

Target Description: Hdac4 is responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. Involved in muscle maturation via its interaction with the myocyte enhancer factors such as MEF2A, MEF2C and MEF2D.

Product Notes

The HDAC4 hdac4 (Catalog #AAA3206954) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Hdac4 Antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rat, Yeast, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Hdac4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Chromatin IP (ChIP), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HDAC4 hdac4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: SSTVGHSLIE AQKCEKEEAE TVTAMASLSV GVKPAEKRSE EEPMEEEPPL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Hdac4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
