Rabbit GNAS Polyclonal Antibody | anti-GNAS antibody
GNAS Antibody (C-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of GNAS (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal GNAS Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the GNAS gene.)
Western Blot (WB)
(GNAS Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in 293,NCI-H292 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the GNAS antibody detected the GNAS protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(GNAS Antibody (C-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human pancreas tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of GNAS Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of GNAS Antibody (C-term) with 293 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(GNAS Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of 293 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Alternative splicing of downstream exons of the GNAS gene is observed, which results in different forms of the stimulatory G protein alpha subunit, a key element of the classical signal transduction pathway linking receptor-ligand interactions with the activation of adenylyl cyclase and a variety of cellular reponses. Multiple transcript variants have been found for this gene, but the full-length nature and/or biological validity of some variants have not been determined. Mutations in this gene result in pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1a, pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1b, Albright hereditary osteodystrophy, pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism, McCune-Albright syndrome, progressive osseus heteroplasia, polyostotic fibrous dysplasia of bone, and some pituitary tumors.

Product Notes
The GNAS gnas (Catalog #AAA9203183) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 287-315. The GNAS Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Hamster, Pig) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GNAS can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GNAS gnas for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GNAS, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
