Related Product Information for anti-G Protein Gi alpha1/alpha2 antibody
GTP-binding proteins (G-proteins) play a critical role in signal transduction by coupling receptors to effectors. The intracellular consequences of G-protein activation include second messenger generation, protein phosphorylation, ion channel activation, gene induction, cell growth, and differentiation. Gi belongs to the pertussis toxin sensitive G-proteins. Gi consists of three different subtypes of alpha-subunits (alphai1, alphai2 and alphai3).

Product Notes

The G Protein Gi alpha1/alpha2 (Catalog #AAA620758) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The G Protein Gi alpha1/alpha2 (guanine nucleotide binding protein (G protein), alpha inhibiting activity polypeptide 1 / guanine nucleotide binding protein (G protein), alpha inhibiting activity polypeptide 2) reacts with Bovine, Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's G Protein Gi alpha1/alpha2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the G Protein Gi alpha1/alpha2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "G Protein Gi alpha1/alpha2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
