Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 0.1 ml distilled water. Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. MyBioSource recommends that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
Immunogen
Recombinant mouse G-CSF
Buffer Solution
Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to mouse G-CSF were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Target Species
Mouse
Preparation and Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. Following reconstitution store at -20 degree C. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. For long term storage, the addition of 0. 09% sodium azide is recommended. N. B. For functional studies, do not use azide.
Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
Related Product Information for anti-G-CSF antibody
Rabbit anti Mouse G-CSF antibody recognizes mouse granulocyte colony stimulating factor, also known as G-CSF. G-CSF stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of granulocyte progenitors in the bone marrow.

Uniprot Description

G-CSF: Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This CSF induces granulocytes. Belongs to the IL-6 superfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cell cycle regulation; Cytokine; Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide

Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region

Molecular Function: enzyme binding; growth factor activity; cytokine activity

Biological Process: positive regulation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase cascade; positive regulation of protein kinase B signaling cascade; positive regulation of peptidyl-tyrosine phosphorylation; positive regulation of myeloid cell differentiation; positive regulation of actin filament polymerization; granulocyte differentiation; positive regulation of protein binding; positive regulation of cell proliferation; positive regulation of transcription factor import into nucleus; immune response; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of peptidyl-serine phosphorylation

Product Notes

The G-CSF csf3 (Catalog #AAA221258) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's G-CSF can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Functional Assays (FN), Western Blot (WB). ELISA: Maximum Dilution: 0.5ug/ml; Functional Assays: Minimum Dilution: 0.005ug/ml; Maximum Dilution: 0.010ug/ml; Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.1ug/ml; Maximum Dilution: 0.2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the G-CSF csf3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "G-CSF, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
